Ginny sat upon her broom, nervous. She'd never felt nervous on a broom before in her life. Her broom had always been her happy place. Freedom. A chance to escape the expectation of being the only Weasley daughter. But now, there was a far greater shadow being cast upon her. Harry Potter's shadow.
Harry had beaten that cruel brat Malfoy, along with her brothers, and so now she found herself on a broom high above the pitch as the whistle blast commenced the game.
Suddenly, a flash of gold flew past her nose. Without another second's thought - she was gone.

Their talent is undeniable... but then, how on earth would you pick between them? And it takes more than quidditch talent to lead a team. Finally, she pondered Harry Potter... no. The boy has enough responsibility as it is.
She circled Angelina's name, nodding sagely.

Everyone had their pre-game rituals. Harry liked to sit in a quiet corner, catching and releasing a snitch as he watched the others go through theirs. Fred and George would be making jokes loudly with Lee Jordan, sometimes even giving him special annnouncer challenges.
"Today, try to squeeze in the phrase 'Merlin on a Nimbus!'" chuckled George.
"But what does that even mean?!" Lee chortled.
"Whatever you want it to mean, you silver tongued legend," Fred laughed, clapping Lee encouragingly on the back, "see you on the pitch!"
The laughter was interrupted by Oliver. "OK guys, this is it..."
