“I don’t bloody well care why we're decorating,” Draco Malfoy exclaimed. “We aren't plastering our common room with red.” He picked up a piece of cherry-red tinsel, looking to all the world like he was handling a live tapeworm.
“But Draco,” Pansy pleaded. “It’s Christmas! You can’t decorate for Christmas without green and red. It’s not like we’re declaring our love for the Gryffindorks, we’re just being tastefully festive.”
Draco just scowled down at the tinsel strand still dangling between his fingers, telling her quite clearly without words what he thought of being “tastefully festive.”
