"Please do," Anthony gushed. "It needs to be perfect. Or better than my cousin Matthew's, at any rate. By the way, Michael, have you asked your parents if you can come?"
Michael glanced up. "Will there be praying involved?"
Terry raised an eyebrow. "What do you expect? It's a bar mitzvah."
"Then I'm afraid I can't go," Michael sighed. "I'm allergic to praying."
