Writer's Block at Sugarquill Challenge #04: Out of the Comfort Zone
Welcome to the fourth WB challenge! This is another one where you have two options - a more technical option and a more content-based option. Challenge will be sticky-posted as soon as voting for challenge 3 ends (but you can find the link in the sidebar at all times).
Challenge: Out of the comfort zone
Points: 1st/2nd/3rd/Participation Only: 50/40/30/10 points & 20/15/10/5 knuts, respectively.
Deadline: Monday, October 28 @ 23:59 UTC (timezone converter).
Details: You can write about characters out of their comfort zone. OR you can write a fic out of your own personal comfort zone (a ship you normally don't write, a character you've never written before, angst if you usually prefer fluff, etc.)
Please, please, please make sure you remove the asterisks from the textboxes! Also, please make sure you fill everything in, especially the 'How is this out of your comfort zone' section (which is for mod purposes only. No one else will see it, but we need to know you've followed the rules).
RULES (taken from the WB community):
- You may submit ONE (1) entry.
- All fics must be between 100 and 500 words. Use either this site to double-check your count or this one.
- Your fic must be written specifically for this challenge.
- Include only official Harry Potter characters from the books and movies. No original characters or characters from another series.
- No fics of an R or NC-17 rating. (Use common sense for this, but examples include no intense violence, no graphic sex scenes, etc.)
- Do not share your entry or post it in any other capacity until voting concludes.
