Your Argument is Weak At Best
"But sir," Hagrid addressed Lucius Malfoy in particular and the Wizengmot in general, "Draco, he, he was rude to it."

"Rude?" Lucius said, his voice dripping contempt. "I did not raise my son to be polite to beasts." Malfoy's glare and tone indicated that he would include Hagrid in this category, as well as possibly half of Wizarding Britain if pressed. "The beast should have known its better. Regardless, Hogwarts students-- children if I may remind the court, are often rude and should probably not be allowed near such a temperamental creature as this Hippogriff."

"Buckbeak," Hagrid supplied.

"I do not care about the creature's name. I care about its fate. It cannot be trusted around civilized people."

"Agreed," Dolores Umbridge, the presiding judge on the case, answered. "The Hippogriff Buckbeak will be sentenced to death."
