Art: Sketches (challenges #64 and #18), one drawing (no challenge)

When I was little I used to love a Norwegian series of movies/plays/musicals and audiobooks called Kaptein Sabeltann (Captain Sabertooth in English). Hell, I still love it, and nothing has the ability to put a smile on my face as quickly as one of those songs! The series is one of the most popular things for children and nostalgia junkies in Norway and though it's been twenty years since the first play came out on VHS they're still going strong and still producing more stories (and remaking the old ones, boo), though the summer of 2010 was the last time any of the original cast participated. The characters in the drawing are two of the main characters from the series, they're best friends and later they became ~romantically involved (but it's still a kid show so you know oh my god handholding true love). The boy, Pinky, used to be a pirate but after his life was threatened by Captain Sabertooth he joined forces with Sunniva and her aunt and uncle to trick the captain and scare him away from the village where they live. He then moved in with them and adventures happened.
This has gone on long enough and I feel like after this rant you deserve a better drawing, but no... The idea was that Pinky and Sunniva found the Marauder's Map and they're studying it over lunch or something, but it didn't quite turn out... (last tidbit of information: they actually met because Sunniva found a treasure map and Pinky tried to steal it for Captain Sabertooth 8D)

Notes: I bet you all saw vanmeeuwe's post yesterday. I was kind of motivated and since I didn't want to steal her idea (also I am selfish lol) I drew my own animagus instead of someone else's :)
