Mods Say Farewell
As in all the other comms, it's time for mods to relate their intentions when it comes to next term. After much consideration, Elaine and I have decided that we will not be re-applying for Quidditch Mod for Term XV.
Don't get us wrong! We love Quidditch, but as you all can probably guess, this job is not an easy one. For both of us, real life is beginning to take up more of our time, and if we stay on, there is no doubt that the community will suffer for it. Therefore, it's best that we allow those with the necessary time, enthusiasm and low blood pressure to take over.
We've enjoyed working together, making devilishly hard searches, counting lots and lots of points, and, trust me, excessive amounts of flailing behind the scenes, our time is up here. We both hope that we've done our fellow HiH-ers proud in running things, making it fun (with just a hint of desperation). :)
The term is not over yet, as there are 2 matches to go - the final regular match between Hufflepuff and Slytherin and the epic championship match! You can believe that we shall make this best of the time left and torture everyone equally!
We highly encourage anyone with genuine love for the game to apply! If you have any questions about anything, please don't hesitate to ask - we'd love to help anyone else who plans to tackle this position! ^.^
