Just watched "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind." It's AMAZING. Kinda weird, a bit trippy, but very well done. Jim Carrey plays the main character but it is 1938471983598147598 degrees from the characters he normally plays. Shows his skill as an actor. Kate Winslet plays Clementine, Joel's (Carrey's) love intrest. Kirsten Dunst plays Mary and Elisha Wood plays Patrick. The movie is a love story, but told in a COMPLETELY different manner. It starts with the distruction of the a relationship and moves backwards to show how some people are just meant to be together. Amazing, incredibly fantastic. *Applause* Very quotable:

Joel: Sand is overrated. It's just tiny, little rocks.

Joel: [narration as Clementine acknowledges him by raising her coffee mug] Why do I fall in love with every woman I see who shows me the least bit of attention?

Clementine: Drink up, young man. It'll make the whole seduction part less repugnant.

Clementine: Joel, I'm not a concept. Too many guys think I'm a concept or I complete them or I'm going to make them alive, but I'm just a fucked up girl who is looking for my own peace of mind. Don't assign me yours. (I LOVE THIS QUOTE!!!!!)

Joel: Constantly talking isn't necessarily communicating.

Joel: I don't see anything I don't like about you.
Clementine: But you will! But you will, and I'll get bored with you and feel trapped, because that's what happens with me.
Joel: Okay.

[Hammering noises in the background]
Rob: Fuck!
Carrie: Rob, give it a rest.
Rob: Carrie, I am making a birdhouse.

Mary: Adults are like a combination of sadness and phobias.

Go rent it right now!
