One Beautiful Summer

Aug 13, 2005 02:23

After floating around on the internet for a little while I realize that I still had this thing. Read the list of posts that I had not managed to read all Summer, and (no offense to anyone) am posting some positive stuff because all I can seem to find on this damn LJ is negative crap. I had, and plan on ending on a fantastic Summer. School is about to start up again, and I am 110% stoked to see each and every one of the guys from the ole 2 East (Don't forget our anthem guys...). It's even cooler that pretty much everyone has offered me up a place to stay and hang out whenever the hell, you guys are all amazing, for real. I have budgeted my money for the next 12 months, and I bet you guys can guess where it's all goin, well, I know Brandon can guess, he's been around me long enough. Work is going great, I have 50 hours this week, 10 hours of overtime, 40 hours next week, and all my years vacation pay going on my next paycheck! No I'm not bragging, it just means I don't have to put my fucking books on my credit card, lol. The Mint Festival is this weekend, and by consequence I am working in my old store in less than 8 hours. It's good and bad, because I have a lot of memories there, and that's the problem, too many memories. Just part of the history though, nothing can change that. The Saturn is in the shop for going on the 3rd week in a row, they can't seem to fix a simple valve cover gasket... which I already paid for. The only problem with this is I might have to keep the Mustang out longer, and with gas prices creeping up my ass at 800 MPH (which would be OK if I could drive that fast...) I can barely afford it, hell it's roughly 1/4 of my income for this upcoming school year. I went to Cedar Point for 2 days over the Summer, rode every single ride I was challenged into (and I'm scared of heights). I rode Top Thrill twice, the first day for the first time, and second day has a story to it. My brother (Josh) and I waited for 4 hours for the front seat, through 3 rain delays and 1 lightning delay, got on, went up, looked straight down, and went backwards! One of the biggest rushes of my life (aside from that one time I spun my Dad's Mustang around in the middle of 27 in front of work). They launched us a second time, my cheeks fluttered and tears were dragged out of my eyes, and it was beautiful. I also went up to the St. Ignace Auto Show, which was also so very awesome. I say so many sweet vehicles, crossed the bridge for the first time (weird eh?), and had a great time camping with some friends. Other than that it's been the same stuff I've done for years. I think that's all I got for now, and I need to get some sleep before my long day tomorrow. For all my friends, keep your heads high, don't be so unhappy, we are in college, supposed to be having the best times of our lives, live it up. Goodnight everyone.

Don't drive like I do,
