We have officially ended the first round of hgbigbang. We have some wonderful fics and art and I hope every one takes the time to read and comment on them.
Us mods are already making plans for a second round. Only this time, we're changing the rules up a bit. We'll still be keeping the rules of the big bang. But instead of just the big bang, we'll also have a semi-big bang, a mini big bang, and a reverse big bang.
with the semi big bang, the word count of that would be half of a normal big bang. the mini big bang will be even less than that with the maximum being 1000 words.
With the reverse big bang, artists can create something of their own and authors will be able to write fic for it but it doesn't have to be big bang length.
Artists will be given free range to claim as many fics as they like when it comes to artist claiming. You can create as much art for fics as you like.
We also have made an archive for this community for posting of art and fic. I know people like to keep things with their journals. But as any person knows, RL can get in the way and livejournals often get erased. With having an archive for everything, it makes it possible for the stories that were written stay for people to see. I don't know how many times I've read a fic, got into it and was disappointed when it was erased.
Come second round this community will be bigger and better. If you guys have any input, please let us know. we'll be happy to listen to any ideas you guys may have.
