looking for fics
hey all, you guys were awesome the last time I was looking for fics, thought maybe someone could help me out again.
the first one I believe is a h/g soul bond type. manipulative Dumbledore. there's another prophecy made that makes Dumbledore think HE'S the one who's supposed to help Harry defeat Voldemort so he gives Harry some love potion or something when he starts to get too close to Ginny. I remember once they get together, Dumbledore tries to separate them by slipping Harry another love potion which Harry gets ill but is able to fight it off thanks to the bond. It's a later-Hogwarts-year fic but that's all I can remember of it. Does it sound familiar to anyone? I THINK I read it on siye but I'm not sure about that; it's been so long ago.
now, the other one. I've probably mentioned this one before but I thought I would do so again. It's after DH. Harry and other members of the DA are helping the Ministry update their DE records. Ginny says something about 'if only things could have been done sooner' which makes Harry upset and thinks it's his fault there were so many deaths, that he took too long. He goes running from the room, trying to find Dumbledore's portrait at the MOM. He finds it but no Dumbledore. He apparates to his house (Potter Manor? I don't know. don't think it was Grimmauld Place) and finds Dumbledore in his portrait there. Harry's so upset he threatens to use AK on himself but I think Dumbledore talks him out of it. This is only one scene and not the plot to the story. It's just all I can remember.
