carrickorourke, we hope you enjoy this.
"Breakfast is ready!" Molly's voice cut through the sleep and woke Harry. He fumbled for his glasses and shoved them onto his face. He squinted at the clock.
Half seven? On a Saturday?
"Come now, everyone. Breakfast is on the table."
Harry rolled out of bed and shoved his legs into his jeans, before pulling on his Weasley jumper -green with gold trim with two H's interlocked together-from last Christmas.
Stepping into the kitchen, he realized he wasn't quite the last one to arrive for breakfast. Ginny wasn't in her chair next to his yet.
"Here you go, dear," Molly said, loading his plate with eggs and sausages.
"That's more than enough, Mrs… Molly."
"Nonsense. You're still growing."
"I'll take more of the sausage, Mum," Ron held out his hand for the platter.
Molly looked at Harry's plate once more to be sure he had enough before passing the platter to Ron, who helped himself to three more sausage links. George grabbed the platter. "Save some for me, eh?"
Molly filled Arthur's coffee cup before sitting down and helping herself.
Ginny stumbled into the kitchen, yawning, the tie on her robe dragging on the floor behind her. She flopped down next to Harry and leaned over and kissed him, wrapping her arms around him.
"Oi!" Ron actually set his fork back down on his plate.
"Ginevra! That is not a proper way to behave at the breakfast table!"
Ginny broke the kiss and turn to face Molly. "Sorry, Mum. But Harry wasn't complaining." She looked around the table and helped herself to scrambled eggs and toast before spearing two sausage links off of Ron's plate.
"Hey! You should have been down here on time."
"And if I had been those would have been mine in the first place."
"Why did we have to get up so early today, Mum?" George asked.
"There's a wedding here tomorrow! We need to clean the house, de-gnome the garden, change the sheets on the bed in Bill's old room, the marquee has to be set up, finish cooking for the reception-"
"I'd love to help, Mum, but I just received a bunch of owl orders this week. Guess everyone used up their supplies they took to Hogwarts," George said.
"You really should think about opening a store in Hogsmeade, George," Arthur said.
"I have been. There's an empty store next to Honeydukes."
"All right, George is excused, but the rest of you-"
"I have to be in Holyhead for a physical with the team healer."
"Kingsley asked all of the heads of their departments to come in for a few hours for a meeting this morning."
Molly closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "All right, Ginny and Arthur, you'll be back this afternoon, right?"
After they both nodded, Molly turned to Ron. "Since it's your wedding-"
"Er, Mum, Hermione wants me to run some errands with her and pick up my tux, and make sure the florist-"
"Fine!"
"I can help, Molly," Harry piped up.
Molly looked at him suspiciously. "You don't need to run off to the Minstry or help Ron?"
"Yeah, you could help me."
"I don't have any plans. Really."
"If you could take care of the dreadful garden gnomes and leaves that would be a big help."
"Leaves?" She hadn't mentioned leaves before.
"Of course, dear." Molly stood up and with a quick flick of her wand directed the dishes on the table to the sink. "The leaves need to be raked before the marquee can be set up."

Harry tossed a gnome and sent it flying far from the garden. He looked hopefully around for another one. Not seeing any, he decided it was time to rake leaves.
He had managed to rake half of the area behind the Burrow when a streak of red flew past him and scattered the leaves.
"Ginny! What are you doing?"
"Playing in the leaves." She held out her hand. He took it to help her up, but she tugged him into the leaves with her. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him.
Harry pushed himself away from her and stood up. "I need to finish this." He indicated the back and one side of the Burrow. "We need to get the marquee up, since there's supposed to be a wedding here tomorrow! In case you've forgotten."
Ginny stood up and faced him. "I haven't forgotten. If I do, I have a hideous lime green dress hanging in my room to remind me." She kicked at the leaves scattered around her. "Why are you so angry just cause I jumped in your leaves? This isn't really about the leaves, is it?"
"I'm trying to help your family here, Gin." Harry pushed his hands through his hair, mussing it more than usual. "I just want to get this done, but you messed it up."
Ginny pulled a leaf out of her hair and released it, letting it float to the ground. Harry watched it fall and attacked it with a rake as soon as it hit the ground.
Ginny watched as Harry raked the leaves into a bigger pile than before. "When was the last time you just enjoyed the leaves and played, Harry?"
Harry ignored her and continued his raking.
This would either be fun, or he'd kill her. Ginny raced and jumped in the leaves again.
Harry tossed the rake to the ground. "Did you have to do that?"
"Come on, Harry. Playing in the leaves is fun. You should try it."
"It's only fun if you aren't the one-"
"When was the last time you jumped in the leaves, Harry?" Her voice was soft.
He hated it when she did that. She'd do something to upset him then her voice would go soft, and he'd let her make her point.
He sat beside her in the leaves. "I was going to say 'never,' but that isn't right." He let her pull him back so that he was lying beside her. "Don't really remember. Must've been four. Maybe five. Aunt Petunia was cleaning the house and had shoved me outside. Dudley, too. Must have been someone important, or at least someone my uncle was trying to really impress coming over for Dudley to be forced outside away from the telly. Uncle Vernon was raking leaves - there were a lot of trees around the house. Dudley ran and jumped in them and I thought Uncle Vernon would go spare. But he didn't - he just laughed. He raked them up again and Dudley jumped again. After they did this a few times with Vernon raking and Dudley jumping, I raced over and jumped."
Ginny reached over and grasped his hand. "Did your uncle laugh when you did it?" she asked, already knowing the answer.
"No. He screamed at me, grabbed my arm, dragged me into the house, and tossed me into the closet. A few years later, raking leaves became my responsibility." Harry gave a short biter laugh. "Every time I raked, Dudley and his friends would jump into the piles of leaves before I could get them stuffed in the bags."
"Sort of like I just did?"
"You weren't trying to cause me more work. Even though you did."
Ginny rolled over and swung her leg over him, straddling his hips. She leaned down kissed him. "There are three things you need to know. One, jumping in leaves is fun. Two, you don't live with the Dursleys anymore." She slid her fingers into the right sleeve of his jumper and pulled out his wand. "And, three, you don't need to use a rake." She waved his wand and piles of leaves appeared all over the yard.
"Apparently I forgot I was a wizard for a while."
"But now that you've remembered, I'll race you to that pile of leaves by the broom shed. Then, I'll help you with gathering the leaves."
"Wait." Harry grabbed her arms and prevented her from getting up. He rolled them over so that she was pinned to the ground. "You look cute like that with leaves in your hair. You should wear them for the wedding."
"I'm sure Hermione will let me."
She pulled him down for a kiss. They never made it to the broom shed.
