Well now *this* is a surprise! What an absolutely delightful thing to find on my flist after a day of unpacking boxes. (We're in the middle of a move)

I love Harry's voice here - his confusion, his wish to do the right thing, his sorrow and his impatience for his own happiness. And the little touches of thinking of Molly as Molly and not Mrs. Weasley. I love how Ginny caught the Snitch practically under his nose (Just like canon!) and how Harry never minds losing to her.

And then the art. The story was treat enough, but *squee* A picture really does say a thousand words. Ginny is so strong and triumphant here! Go Ginny The coloring is appropriately vivid and I love the verticle line of her arm (so strong!) and the softness of their hair and the tenderness of of their kiss. *Happy Sigh* They're sooo good together, and deserve those beautiful blue skies.

When I first got the inspiration for this, Ginny told me about the kiss, then when it was time to actually write the story, she was no where to be found and Harry chose to ramble along in first person!

A delight for St Mags and a treat for all the rest of us. Harry definitely sounds like my sons when they were teens. As Harry thought Twelve Fail-Safe Ways to Charm Witches really needs a chapter on why girls like you one day and can't stand to be in your company the next.
