“There has got to be thousands of rings to choose from!” Quinn gasped. “What did Emma say she wanted?”
Terri pulled out a yellowed piece of paper with a picture drawn in crayon from her purse. She carefully unfolded it then lay it on the counter in front of them for all to see.
It was a picture of a red haired girl wearing a very pretty wedding dress, holding some very pretty flowers and wearing a very pretty ring.
Kendra snorted loudly when she saw the rather childish drawing. “What the hell, Terri? You get one of my boys to draw you a picture of Emma?”
The younger sister rolled her eyes and smacked the shoulder of the offending smartypants.
“No! It a picture Emma drew of herself when she was a flower girl in her aunt’s wedding. She was so excited to be wearing a grown up dress with lace, carrying a parasol and even had her hair set in curls with the adults in the wedding party. She pretty much planned her own wedding that day.”
Quinn scanned the case to try to find a ring that matched the one in the picture. She gasped loudly when she found an almost perfect match.
The ring was quickly purchased, wrapped and carefully put into a beautiful bag. Now Terri just had to figure out the most romantic way to propose.
