I have to say i though that panama city was awesome. I enjoyed it very much, espically the pair of jeans that i bought that pretty much take 5 min worth of danceing to get into, but totally worth it since they totally make my ass look hot:). lol. Well it took 18 hrs to get here from San Jose including the bloody 3 hrs. it took to get across the border. Ick! We left at 11pm and got to Panama city around 5pm the next night. Aftr getting here we went to the hostel that we made resevations at. It turned out to be an awesome hostel! And prolly half of the reasons why I{ll never tellO:) lol. Anyways hung out in the hostel that night made some new friends. The next day we woke up early and went to the Panama Canal. If you ever want to see something sweet I would reccomend going there. Perhaps going to tech and dating engineers has given me a greater appreciation for engineering marvels. But its amazing watching these giant ships moving up and down in the locks. Sides I also got to take some super fun pictures in the museum that ill prolly put up on facebook soon. Although itll prolly be after I finish my reports for class:P I have a 5 page paper due on Tues and another 3 page one in a week after that. At least they shouldnt be too boring to do. After the canal we went and wandered around Via Espana, its the main st. by our hostel. Did a little bit of shopping, bought 2 pairs of red shoes, and then came back and then went grocery shopping, and let me tell you it was amazing!!!!!! All the things you cant find in the Punt(aka my place of residence in costa rica...aka Puntarenas...just in case you were wondering...I like the Punt better, sounds dirty) yay for grocery stores with amerincan foods, they even had land o lakes cheese:) Then just hung out and played cards with some of the guys at the hostel, it was fun. Then the next day we got up early to go and catch a ferry to Taboga Island, we ended up standing in line for 2 hrs to get the tickets and then another hour. And then an hour on the Ferry. But the island was cool, it had a nice beach and a nice quite little town, where i would love to retire to. Muy tranquillo and the houses are georgous. On a side note I currently have a love affair with hammacoks, which is prolly a good thing since I now own 3...oops, at least i dont own as many hammacoks as shoes. Then I would be in trouble... Anyways I managed to get a wicked sunburn on the island so even now 3 days later i still look like a lobster thats just been boiled...oops..an then after we got back to the city i ended up going to the casino with some of my new friends and i actually managed to win, for my first time ever, money at a casino, true ive only been to 2 other casinso but it was a good time i almost doubled my money:) and then we got kicked out at 11 cause they had to stop selling alchol at 12 casue of easter, and so we went to the grocery store and bought alchohol with out winnings came back to the hostel and got drunk, always a good time, didnt make it to bed until about 4 am...oops. The next day we wanted to go to Colon and to the duty free zone to go shopping, so we took a 2 hr bus ride only to find out that it was closed for easter weekend:,( so we took the bus back to panama city, the only kinda cool thing about it was that we got to see bout the carribean and the pacific in panama. and then we came back and went for ice cream..yum...i love ice cream. Today, which is our last day in Panama city, we went shopping on Avindia Central which basically just has really cheap clothes...I bought alot of clothes, but I was good and bought mostly cold weather clothes since Ill be back soon! amd a pretty Then tonight we went out dancing which is fun, I love dancing, espically latin, I think you should learn, it has many great benifits I swear....Manana its back on the bus then Tues. its school again. w00t and then thrusday im heading to chirripo, which is the highest mountain in costa rica, with caleb who is my very plutonic pretend bf, wow i really need some new hobbys here, lol, well i suppose ill be home soon O:) well i think now i need to go pass out, buenas noches
