Guh, what a long day. But I am moved in! I'll post some pictures of my room later.
Today went more smoothly than I expected, probably. Except my first fridge wouldn't close right, which was really annoying, so my dad had to go out and exchange it. Other than that, though, things are looking pretty nice up in hurr! I got way more pink stuff than I remember, so I look kind of girly and fruity, but it's still cute. My suitemates are chill upperclassmen that seem really nice, so that worked out well.
So much to do tomorrow, though! =O
- Open checking account at school credit union
- Pick up books/figure out if they're paid for
- Find my classes
- Make appointment with advisor just to hang out with her
- Not die
But I'm so sleeping in and fixing my iTunes library and watching some of the 100+ channels that are going on in this place!
Just thought I'd update on the whole dorm experience for ya!
I miss you all so much already!
PS. I just created the first of many glorious college meals -- cream cheese on a whole wheat pita, smooshed into a sandwich. It could be a lot worse, I imagine.
