Had a pretty good Thanksgiving. Claudia got to try solids for the first time. She had some acorn squash and turkey. She seemed to really be enjoying having food even though she didn't eat that much. She'd mostly get a little squash on her hands and then suck on them like crazy.
Costa was disappointed to find out that jerky and turkey were not the same thing. He'd been doing a sign that I didn't recognize whenever he'd eat beef jerky. I was confused until I asked him if he wanted to eat turkey today and he enthusiastically nodded yes and signed his sign for jerky. That's when I realized all along he thought he was eating turkey when he was really eating beef jerky. So he wasn't too impressed when I gave him turkey instead of the much anticipated jerky. Also, it doesn't help that we never eat the Thanksgiving foods outside of Thanksgiving so it all looked pretty weird to him.
