Be my valentine!
In the last four and a half years of dating, Nick and I have never ever, not once, celebrated Valentine's day. He has sent flowers when he was overseas but nothing when he's in town.
So this year, I requested ever-so-nicely, that he take me out for a nice meal. And a nice meal we had. He took me to a lovely buffet dinner at Mandarin Oriental and we wolfed down the food so fast we got nary a word in. Quite literally. I have no photos of food. Only this one shot of me only to eager to get back to eating and one of Nick and his beer.
It was quite a lovely evening and like the true gramps we tend to be like, we headed straight home after dinner, popped in a blu-ray and retired for night.
