Chinen Yuri walked towards the hallway of their school; she stopped her tracks when she saw a familiar figure, a figure Yamada Ryosuke with some girl, a pretty one. She wonders if how many times already, how many time did he caught him with someone else.
She took a minute to examine them, they look good together and that made her jealous for the fact that she doesn’t even given a chance to talk to him even just for a while. Gone were the childhood days in which they used to be together, playing at park, laughing at the chibi ryosuke who used to be fat way back then, a cute chubby cheeked boy who loves strawberries and ate a lot of food, an adorable, he even let her pinched her chubby cheeks, only for her… just for her. They were close back then, but gone were those days…
As Yuri continues watching them, she felt something inside her. Her heart clenched as if something is preventing it from beating, why would her heat beats for the two, right? She closed her eyes and heaved a sigh for the nth time.
She keeps on asking herself why did he choose to fall inlove with Ryosuke? A handsome guy which makes every girl in their school drools over his drop-dead-looks, He used to break every girl’s heart and made them cry to death, girls are been dying to have him and yet he’s not giving them any single chances to have him.
“You’re keep on hurting me over and over again, didn’t you know that?!” Yuri whisper to herself, she knows she doesn’t have any right to complain about ‘him’ hurting her emotionally for the fact that they don’t have any relationship, her childhood friends were gone ages ago and would never gonna come back again. As they grow up, he’s forgetting her and her existence, for him; she’s not existing anymore. Her heart aches every time she’s seeing him with someone else. “I’m being pathetic” she thought “we don’t have any relationship and he doesn’t even know my feeling towards him” she continued.
“Hi chii~” Ryosuke suddenly appeared from behind calling for her name. Is she hearing it right? Did ryosuke really called her and mentioned the nickname that he used to called her when they were still kids?
His voice jerked her awaked from her reverie; she didn’t notice that she’s been standing in her spot for a long period of time already.
“What are you doing here?” Ryosuke asked her, showing his famous smile to her. Yuri’s heart beat faster and faster as his steps getting closer to her spot.
“anoooo…ah! Nothing! Really just nothing…I…” the sudden appearance made her lost her composure which made her unable to gather some words to utter “i..i..”
“What?” ryosuke asked in confusion, his brows furrowed.
“i.. just want to look at the sky? It’s so beautiful ne?” she lied and she was hoping it buys him
“Huh?!” Ryosuke asked dully, he look up to see the blue crisp with shades of cottony white, he nodded for she was right.
“Oh! I have to go~ jyaa!” yuri quickly said and was to walk away when he stopped her, holding her wrist.
And again….her heart beats faster. Yuri tried to remain calmer as possible, but the moment he made contact with her smooth skin, electricity surge through her body and in no time she’ll definitely explode.
“W-what is it?” Yuri asked hesitantly
“I want to talk to you” He heard no answer from the other.
For a moment, she’s smiling inside, the fact that the guy wants to talk to her but she’s wondering what the guy was up to and what’s with the sudden talked, ryosuke doesn’t usually talk to her at all.
“Oh! C’mon chii~! Let’s just say I need your help!” Yuri was a bit surprised, he seriously don’t get him at all, it feels so odd for her, it’s a rare occurrence for him to need her, and to asked for a help from her.
Afternoon comes, the sun set down, silence covers the whole campus that filled with noises during daytime. Yuri was the only one left in the classroom, she was all alone, and she fixes her stuffs when he heard a sudden voice.
“chiii~” she turn to face him, eyes went all wide when Ryosuke appeared in front of her.
“Yamada-kun! I told you! Just go find someone else and asked for their help!” Yuri gasped, she was kind of surprised that he’s still inside the campus and even more surprised when he appeared in front of her. Ryosuke seems asking for a help from her but she declined it.
“I won’t take no as an answer chii~” Him being so persistent is getting worst “whether you like or not, you’re going with me” he grabbed her wrist and run away dragging her all the way outside the school.
“Let me go!” yuri scream but it was no used, no one will hear her. Ryosuke carried her in bridal style and open the passenger seat and gently pushed her inside, he closed the door and he get in the car and starts the engine, going somewhere that she doesn’t know.

“What kind of help?” she asked, her brow creased
“There’s this girl that I want and I’m planning to court her. You know I’m a boy, yeah! It’s obvious, I just really need your help about some girl stuffs, I’m planning to buy her something and I need your suggestions, maybe clothes, jewelries. What do you think?”
Yuri’s eyes widen, seriously! After he said that, she stayed still trying to absorb what he just said, did he really mean it that way? Does he know that he’s hurting her triple times now? And asking her help about what he should do to make ‘that girl’ happy hurts her even more, her heart jagged into tiny pieces.
“W-why me? Why not any other girls out there? I’m pretty sure they’re willing to help you with that kind of stuffs” yuri asked shrugging bitterly, she doesn’t made it obvious for him but her face looks gloomy.
“Why would I ask them? I have you, right?”

The journey went quite, neither wants to open up but ryosuke decided to break the silence.
“I wonder why you still don’t have boyfriend chii?” he asked breaking the ice while holding the stirring wheel but hears no answer from her.
“Oh! C’mon talk to me! Are you mad? How about I treat you for a dinner?” She remain silent but it buys her

They went to different shops to find nice dresses, until they reached one particular shops. The shop is known for their nice girl dresses, but the prices are so expensive, only girl from elite families can afford those kinds of dresses.

“I don’t know!” yuri shrugged
“You’re not helping me, don’t you know that?!” he reprimanded but not in a gentle way, and yuri find it funny, it’s cute of him, she giggled.
“I just don’t buy clothes very often”
“tssss! You’re making me crazy right now!” he scratched his head, minute of silence.
“if you truly wants a girl to be happy, don’t buy him material things which worth too much, she doesn’t need one. if you truly want her, why don’t you treat her like a princess and prove yourself that you deserved her heart instead of buying those expensive stuffs” Yuri whisper there was a hint of bitterness from her voice and ryosuke clearly heard it and then followed by an awkward silenced, she didn’t said it in purposed, in fact she blurted it without thinking, those words comes from her heart not from her brain.

Not long after, a saleslady come and approached them

“I-I’m no---“ Yuri was about to correct her about not being his girlfriend when ryosuke stopped her attempt at innuendo
“I need a dress that would look good on her” Ryosuke cuts her off, Yuri stay still, she gape in surprise.
“Okay sir, please give me a minute”
Yuri followed him “Why don’t you tell her truth?! I.am.not.your.girlfriend” she turned to face him as she emphasizes those words at him
“Sssh! Just be quite! It doesn’t matter” he smirked, she frown at him but deep inside her heart beats as if it would jump out of its ribcage.
They followed the saleslady, “this one will be perfect for her, since she has a nice skin complexion and body, you’re a very lucky guy to have him sir” she said, Yuri blushed at the thought, she bowed her head not wanting the guy to notice the red tint on her cheeks.
“Why don’t you try this one” The saleslady approached Yuri and escorted her inside the fitting room. Yuri tried different dresses that the saleslady chooses for her, black dress, yellow sundress and other dresses that reached above her knee, all those clothes that she tried looks perfect for her but the price is unbearable. The saleslady even let ryosuke see her wearing those, Yuri can’t stand it anymore, she was so shy at him but they guy smiled at her, and telling her it was fine, he even praises her and find her beautiful on the dress that she’s wearing, especially the black one which fits her body perfectly. His heart went doki doki without her knowing it.
“I’ll take all of that!” Ryosuke said handing the saleslady a paycheck. Yuri’s eyes again went all wide in shocked but somewhat she felt jealous at the moment when the realization suddenly hit her like a thunder, that girl must be lucky that ryosuke even buy her clothes.
The saleslady handed the paper bags, and after that they went outside.
“I’m pretty sure you’re hungry, c’mon let’s eat, my treat!” he said with a smile
“You know, that girl is so lucky~” yuri suddenly blurted out of the blue “I just hope that she will give you a chance because you deserved it” she continue and they walked with silence.
“I have to go now!”
“But why? We haven’t eaten anything; I want to treat you for dinner. I want to say thank you for helping me today!”
“No need to thank me, It’s my pleasure to help you. I hope I made you happy!” She said in a sad tone, and walk away from him and he didn’t even stopped her and that made her feel sad.
Yuri still doesn’t want to go home, so she decided to walk going nowhere. She wants a peace of mind and even wants to clear her mind about what happened a while ago, moments ago she was happy and let the guy pulled her because that’s just mean a chance of him and her being together but those happiness happens for a short period of time and immediately followed by bitterness.
Yuri went home a little later; her eyes suddenly caught someone’s car. It was Ryosuke’s
“Hi..” ryosuke greeted her standing in front of their gate leaning against the back of his car, she just nodded recognizing him
“What are you doing here?” she asked bitterly
“Been waiting for you for an hour already” he said a matter of factly
“Why?” she asked curiously
“I..i actually just” he was so nervous to make a move but he knows that he needed to do something, it’s now or never situation, he’s been keeping this kind of feeling for a while and he needed to tell her the truth “wanted to give you this!” he handed her those paper bags contains dresses that they bought a while ago. Ryosuke look at her shyly, “and this too” He handed her a box with a letter on it. His hands are shaking that made the nervousness obvious.
“Uh… please do read the letter. I have to go jyaa!” he bid his goodbye and run to his car as if he wants hide there forever.
Truth is…. he loves her secretly from behind
Yuri stayed still as her eyes glued at the car which is fading away from her sight.
She went inside her room, she put those paper bags on her bed and opens the box, and she picked the letter and read it.

She dialed his number and the latter immediately picked his phone.

“Yurrrrri?” he asked
“Yes, it’s me! You! Stop fooling around” tears fell from her eyes “Stop playing jokes at me! How could you!! T_T”
“Yuri! No! I wasn’t. I’m being honest, I love you!” he finally let her hear those words that come from his mouth “I love you eversince! I’m just afraid of you; you keep on distancing away from me” he confessed
“That’s because I hate you. I hate you!” she pouted, now crying.
“Why are you crying?!” he asked sadly
“Because I hate you and I love you too at the same time! I hate you for staying away from me as we grew up! I love you so much ryosuke!”
“Was that mean? You already accepted me?!” he asked smiling from the other line

“Please stay with me~” she cut his words
