Another morning finally comes, for chinen to face. The clock started to buzz which makes him frown, he still needed more time to continue his rest because he slept late last night thinking of what happen for the rest of his day yesterday and of course thinking of something that kept on bothering him yesterday after the incident inside the Ferris wheel happened.
The kiss can’t get out of his mind and it drives him crazy, ‘why does yama-chan kiss him? Does yama-chan like him?’ those are the question that he keeps on asking to himself. Honestly chinen like the chubby cheeked boy the first time he saw him, but he quite disappointed because of ryosuke’s attitude from the first time they met. Ryosuke always annoys him, he’s always making fun of him and he doesn’t really like it that’s why he acts so cold to ryosuke lately.
He shook his head trying to wear out his thoughts, because he needed to prepare himself for he still have his tutorial session with ryosuke and he needed to be there in time though yamada-san didn’t really mind if his late or not. He quickly got up from his bed, takes a shower, prepare the things he needed, eat his breakfast and bid his goodbye to his kaa-chan.
His door opens revealing the sight of Chinen, the chubby cheeked boy groan as he realized that they still going to have their tutorial. He watched as chinen made his way inside and stops at the study table.
“Seriously? Do you really need to do it; I mean do I really need you to do it? I’m good enough you know! And my grade is back!” he started which makes the squirrel glared at him ‘conceited’ chinen murmur
“And seriously? Why don’t you just ask your mom to stop it! Coz i don’t like it when I’m stuck in your crib every weekend” chinen retorted raising his brow
“Oh! Easy! Chii, I was just kidding ok?!” he chuckle
“Well! No fun!” chinen mumble as he putted his bag on the table and putting his things such as books, notepad and pen. “Let’s begin!”
And chinen began to tutor him.
He stops writing when he saw the chubby cheeked boy who’s looking at him and grinning ever so wide that chinen needs a ruler to measure it. Chinen face him, glaring
“Why are you smiling like that?” the squirrel raises his brow “seriously? You look like an idiot!”
“mou~” ryosuke pouted at his statement, but he speak nonetheless “you’re so cute”
Chinen blushes at his words but he needed to act nonchalant. “Are you trying to bribe me? Well, your praise is no use!” he rolled his eyes.
“I’m not! …… and by the way I thought were okay already?” he complain
“Yes we are! But would you please stop being ‘baka’ so that I won’t get mad at you!” chinen answer as he take another pen to write.
“yama-chan, what are fundamental quantities? And what are those fundamental quantities?” the squirrel ask seriously
“boooo. That was so easy!” he said proudly as he defines the fundamental quantities. Chinen smiled at his correct answer and then he continue asking him until it comes to the point that ryosuke Asks him some question who’s out of the topic already, and it was weird questions for the squirrel to answer.
“ne chii, what if I fall in love with you? Would you catch me?” he asks but he seems not joking because he looks so serious,
“What’s with that question? Please focus on our lesson!” chinen exclaim
“chii, I’m dead serious! I wanna know your answer! Please!” chinen felt awkward but he decided not to mind his question instead he go back to the lesson they’re studying.
“chii… what if I tell you that I like you? Will you like me too?” ryosuke asks again, chinen gulp but he decided to make a fake chuckle.
“hahahahaha! Are you hungry aren’t you? Please don’t ask me weird things yama-chan!” he shivers
“Ok, actually I’m not hungry, and I don’t ask you weird things? I’m really serious” he retorted
“Stop joking! It’s not really funny!” chinen lied but his nervous

“Believe me? I’m dead in serious with my question chii. I i-a-actually like you.
Chinen! I like you! I like you so much! I never thought of this before, I’m sorry for always teasing you and I’m sorry for always making fun of you! I’m sorry for playing pranks especially giving you the frog, I never expected you to be scared like that and I felt guilty. The night that we slept together and when you asks me not to leave you, that night it made me realize how stupid I am for scaring such cute boy like you, and when I stare at your angelic face when you’re sleeping peacefully I felt something like I never felt before after the time my girlfriend and I broke up! chii~ I was very thankful that I know you, you help me a lot! You open my heart to love again for the second time, I thought I was already lost when my girlfriend cheated and broke up with me but I was wrong. I like everything about you!.....and...i..i love you!” He shrugged his shoulder, gasping as he did after he said those words continuously, he look at the bewilder squirrel under him, he stare at him leaning closer and closer until he left his lips atop of chinen’s. Ryosuke kissed him, but he snap when he heard chinen’s groan, he Pulled out of the kissed and said “I’m sorry!” as he left the astonished chinen alone who’s still lying on the bed, heart thumping so fast., And blushing so red, like a ripe tomato.

It’s Monday, and as usual student does their usual habit.
The bell rang, its already break time and all the students seems really happy as they went outside of their classroom to go to the cafeteria, while on the other hand our squirrel seems didn’t hear the bell as he stay still on his seating position, daiki and yuto notice him and decided to go towards his place.
“What’s with that face chii?” yuto snap but chinen didn’t respond, he’s still busy with his own train of thoughts.
“Chii?!” daiki exclaim and that makes chinen surprised
“WHAT?!” he shouted
“What happened to you? Are you sick or something?” daiki asks him as he put his hands on chinen’s forehead “uhmmm… you’re not sick!” He nodded his head
“It’s already break time, c’mon let’s go to the cafeteria” the squirrel heard it but he shook his head “I’ll pass this time, I don’t have appetite. Gomene” he pouted
“Since when did you lose your appetite chii?!” daiki chuckles but chinen managed to shut his mouth with just one sharp glare.
“Sorry~ hihihihi ” daiki covered his mouth
The rest of the weekdays were quite odd for yuto and daiki as they didn’t know what happened to their precious squirrel, their mind keep on asking and wondering why he acts strange and quite recently and he seems avoiding someone. And the question is who is this someone that chii made a distant for?
The oddness of the squirrel last until Friday, and as more and more questions are floating on his friend’s mind, yuto think he had enough already so he wanted to jump into conclusion and asks chinen if what happen to him, he was about to talk to him when chinen approach him.
“yuti, can we talk?” chinen asks and yuto nodded so they took a sit before starting a Conversation. They both felt a sudden uncomfortable at that state, chinen shrugged it off; he knows that he needed to tell everything to his best friend.

But I’m really afraid that you might think of something. Were just friends and we don’t have any relationship aside from being his tutor. So.. uhm.. I’m afraid that you, dai-chan and the rest will start blabbering about me and him. So yes, thanks.” He continue explaining everything, he raises his head to look at his bestfriend but what surprised him is, yuto didn’t even react or making any violent reaction for his statement.
“Seriously? chinen’s explanation is kinda confusing, maybe yuto didn’t understand everything. Explain it clearly chii!” minna
“uhmmm, yutti~” he whisper getting the taller’s attention, yuto look at him with his questioning look

“Me and dai-chan, were actually wanted you guys to be together, yuya and keito told me that yama-chan has a problem. You see he fail all his subject and he’s not like that before, he’s just truly inlove with his girlfriend but in the end his girlfriend cheated on him, she hurt yama-chan, she broke his pure heart. and his friends wanted the old yama-chan back, so since we like you for him, we decided to plan this tutor-thing to help yama-chan”
“So, is she the reason why yama-chan became like that?” chinen asks again and yuto nodded
“Ooooh! Matte! I just don’t know what to say” chinen blink his eyes for a few times and shaking his head as well “I think I’m getting crazy right now! are all of these for real?” he asks, scratching his head, his getting dizzy
“so, yama-chan being so meanie is a part of the plan too?” the squirrel asks again but yuto shook his head this time
“Were actually don’t know that his treating you that way and besides he doesn’t even know about our plan.” He fiddles “both of you completely didn’t know about this. And if you’re asking me about yamada-san’s case, well. We just told her about you, and you’re free and okay to tutor him”
“I didn’t remember that someone asks me for a help and I didn’t even remember that I accepted someone’s favor before” chinen tries to emphasize his words
“Were sorry~ we just wanted you to be together. Coz we like yama-chan for you”
Both stayed silent for a while
“You know guys? I thought you and dai-chan were my best friend but it turns out that i was wrong, you send me to danger.” Chinen pouted
“I’m very sorry for keeping this for a while chii, I know this really surprised you but it’s better to say this than never, right?”
“I don’t know, I’m still mad at the two of you” the squirrel crosses both of his arms over his chest and making a fake stern look towards his best friend
“oh, c’mon chii, don’t get mad. Don’t be like that, okay? Were just trying to help yama-chan and you”
“Help me?” chinen asks confusedly pointing at his nose
“Yes you!” yuto roll his eyes “I know you slowly fell for him”
“I’m not, I’m not” he shook his head
“la~la~la someone’s lying, I can see it in your eyes~” yuto sang as he tries to tease the chibi by tickling both of his sides
“Stop that! Stop that!” ordered chinen as he gentle slaps the latter’s hands away
“Someone’s blushing so mad~ blushing so mad~” the latter still didn’t stop singing
“I won’t unless you change your mind, and don’t get mad at us anymore” yuto chuckles as he teases and tickles his side harder
“hahaha…hahaha..okkay~ for-hahahahaha-given forgiven” chinen then said in between his laughter
“Thank you! we love you chii-chan!” yuto smiles spreading his arms widely open and hug his chibi best friend
“Promise me to not do it again in the future”
