The bright sunlight in the morning awakens the squirrel from his deep sleep. He open his eyes to welcome the morning. When he was about to move he notice a familiar figure sleeping beside him. He gently rubs his eyes to clear his vision, and he realized that he’s still inside ryosuke’s room and the boy beside him is no other than yamada ryosuke, the chubby cheek boy is still sleeping peacefully.
He shakes his head trying to remember what happened yesterday but seems that the face in front of him is cutting his thought of remembering. Yes! The handsome face of yamada ryosuke is right in front of him.
Chinen stared at the sight “he looks so handsome!” he thought while looking on his eyes, brows, nose, lips and his chubby cheeks caught chinen’s attention. He raises his hands as he wanted to touch the older boy’s chubby cheeks but he was afraid that the touch will wake him up from his deep slumber. “No chinen! Don’t do that!” he whispers to himself trying to stop it. But those chubby cheeks is so tempting, he’s wondering wither how fluffy it is and how smooth it is. He finally carried away by his curiosity and so he touched the chubby cheeks of ryosuke, he softly caresses it so that it won’t wake the older boy. “It’s so fluffy!” he smiled while caressing ryosuke’s chubby cheeks. He quickly remove his hand from ryosuke’s face and close his eyes pretending that he’s still sleeping when ryosuke moves his head a bit. “That was so close!”
Chinen sighed in relieve; he thought that ryosuke might caught him for touching his cheeks.
He decided to get up from the bed, fixing himself and walks out of the room. He’s walking downstairs when Mrs.Yamada saw him.
“Ohayo chii~” Mrs.Yamada greeted smiling at him.
“O…ohayo” he mumble.
“Let’s go! Breakfast is ready!” she invited the squirrel.
Chinen walks to kitchen he gulps as hunger takes over his body and adding the fact that delicious breakfast is serve right in front of him.
“Take a sit. Don’t be shy” Mrs.yamada said while holding a plate of strawberry pancakes.
The younger nodded as he took a sit.
“Is ryosuke already awake?” she asks him
“n..not yet!” he replied shaking his head.
“oh! I will wake him up… just eat, okay?” she said while making his way to ryosuke’s room but wait. She stop as she remember something, she turn to chinen and spoke
“by the way! Your mom called me last night, asking if where are you. But don’t worry I told her that you’re sleeping over here.” she smiled.
“arigato!” chinen thank her and bow his head after mrs.yamada leave the kitchen, he immediately pick a toasted bread and began to eat.
Not long after that Mrs. Yamada came with his son ryosuke, of course.
Chinen clear his throat as he saw him, and he begun to worry that the chubby cheeks boy might do and speak something wrong to him but surprisingly ryosuke just took a sit in front of him and greeted him. “ohayo chii~” with a smile plastered on his face.
“eh?! Chii?” he thoughts “he never heard yamada calling him by his name or even nickname. Its odd” he thoughts again, thinking if he will greeted him back and if he will then should he have to add his name or not.
“o..ohayo!” chinen plainly greeted back.
“I have to go. Thanks for the breakfast Yamada-san” Chinen thanked again as he bow his head.
“Your always welcome chii” she smiled
After bidding goodbye chinen finally walk out of her house. Not long after that
“Mom! Where’s chii?” yamada shouted from upstairs as he quickly run towards her mother’s place.
“Oh. He already went home.”
“huh? Why didn’t you tell me that he already went home?” he asks while scratching his not-itchy air in annoyance.
“Follow him!” his mom suggested.
“No thanks!” he shook his head while going back to upstairs “I will see him in school tomorrow” he continue.
Since its Sunday, chinen decided to stay at home and take enough rest. He still has to tutor yamada today but he decided not to come since he just went there a while ago.
The Monday finally comes. Chinen woke up early so that he won’t be late for school as usually doing his daily routine in the morning and after that he walk going to school since their school is just walking distance. He enters the school gate and in there he saw his friend and greeted them.
“chii-chan~!” yuto and daiki shouted from behind, chinen turn to face them. “ohayo!” they greeted their friend.
“ohayo!” chinen greeted back.
“chii, I tried to call you yesterday but I can’t reach your phone” yuto said
“go..gomen! My phone is down yesterday” he reason out.
“soukka~ ne”
“We went in amusement park yesterday chii~” daiki happily said and yuto nodded.
“that’s good then!” he smiled.
“No, its not. Since you’re not with us yesterday” yuto added.
“We tried to call ryosuke yesterday too and asking him if he can go but well, he refuses.” Daiki said.
“aaaaaa..” he just said and they continue walking to their classroom. While walking they heard someone calling chinen’s name from behind and when they turn around yuto and daiki’s widen there eyes when they saw that it was yamada who’s calling chinen’s name.
“chii!” yamada shouted waving his hand and running to their place.
“yama-chan?” Yuto and daiki both shared a look before turning their eyes to chinen who just shrug his shoulder.
“You both know each other?” yuto asks curiously but chinen didn’t response.
Yamada gasped when he stops “ohayo!” he greeted the confuse yuto and daiki but still they managed to greet him back, and yamada turn to chinen, smiling at him before greeting him. “ohayo chii~”
“o..ohayo~” chinen greeted back with a low sound voice.
“How come, you act like you two are close?” yuto interrupted asking the chubby cheeked boy.
“uh-yeah! I know him…” yamada replied.
“How?!” they both ask them. It took a minute for them to answer their question.
“ano….we’re….uh~” chinen nervously said but luckily he was saved by yuya and keito. Who shouted their names from behind.
“yuya! Keito!” yuto and daiki both shouted turning from behind to face their lovers and forgetting about their matter with chinen and ryosuke.
Chinen sighed in relieved while touching his chest. Well, Special Thanks to yuya and keito and if wasn’t for the two he surely dead of their question.
Ryosuke stared at him with a puzzled look. “What’s wrong with you?”
Chinen turn to face him and glared at him for snapping out his thoughts and walks away leaving the chubby cheeked boy. Ryosuke shrugged his shoulder wondering and then he follows the squirrel.
“chii! wait !” he shouted following him.
“What do you want ryosuke!” he shouted back “if its something important, I’ll talked to you later about that!”
“chii~”
