Not really sure.

Just seems to happen a lot around here. Guess if you don't talk into it for set period of time it gets cranky or something... really don't know how it works. Just a guess.

Rather it didn't shock me at all.

Trust me. When everyone isn't running around and screaming over these communicators about something, it's pretty laid back. Though every once in a while something wild happens to spice things up. Not in a good way so far.
