so you got a shot today.
This morning i woke up with this horrible pain in my chest, well my boob area. i thought ok maybe i just need to strech it out and it will all be ok. so i put on my workout dvd and that wasnt helping. though the workout was going quite well, my chest was killing me. it didnt matter if i was laying down, sitting, standing, whatever. it hurt. i was crying at one point and lisa was like ok lets go to the doctor. so we go. im thinking its the worst. kinda like george costanza. think for the worst. lol so we are sitting in the little room waiting, and lisa was making me laugh which made the pain sooo much worse. like my chest was tightening up. the doc finally comes in and im all yay. so hes like whats wrong. blah blah. i tell him the work i do. and it all kinda intertwines. he poked at my boob really hard and it hurt like hell! he said i was inflamed. the ribs are rubbing against the breast bone with all the lifting i do, and it caused that section to become inflamed. so. he says I can give you pills, or a shot to knock it out for a little while till we get you meds. of course i take the shot. he comes back in with a nurse, turns out they have 2 shots for me. lucky me. the nurse holds my arm while im holding my top in place so my whole boob isnt out. i didnt see the needles, i had my eyes shut the whole time. he poked one in, and man it hurt! i could feel it moving around in my boob and when the meds went in. *i got novacaine, and cortazone* right away i feel better. the pills i got one i have to take twice a day, the other is basically vicodine. sucks though. if it keeps up i might not be able to stay at this job. i love the puppies! i want my own shop. but i cant lift the heavy ones like i have been.
