Scene from a favorite movie
Do you guys know my friend Phil McAndrew? Well if you don't, let me tell you. Phil is a SUPER TALENTED artist! He draws neat comics and really cool illustrations. If you work for a publication or a website, today is your lucky day, because Phil is available for hire! His work can class up any publication. I have a picture he drew for The Guy hanging up in the living room and it makes the living room 100% more awesome.
Phil is running a contest where he asked his friends to draw a scene from one of their favorite movies. So I drew this, from The Royal Tenenbaums! The Guy got me some watercolor pencils and brushes for Christmas (in an obvious attempt to win my favor; don't worry it didn't work but I kept the pencils), so I used those. It was my first time using watercolor! I think it came out kind of pretty, don't you? I am excited to try painting some more.
The other thing about Phil is that he is really nice and funny. So if you need something illustrated, you should definitely email him or call him. He will be fun to work with! If you don't work for a publication or a website maybe you can send his name to a friend who does?
