Posting on lunch break at work. No one else is in the office again today.
Last weekend was great. The Warhammer LARP had some excellent moments, though unfortunately meant that I had to miss the Bristol Zombie Lurch.
At the moment I'm kept busy most days by one thing or another, Karate takes up two evenings a week alone, with Animesoc, Le Roc, Sci-Fi (I'll be there this friday at least) and various gamesoc activities giving me plenty to do. Oh, and it's poker tonight.
A quick hello to my housemates who I haven't really seen for a while. I was a bit unwell yesterday when I got back from work so did very little before falling asleep early.
This morning I was feeling much better when my phone's alarm went off. As it was still complete darkness I attempted to turn on my bedside light, only to discover that pressing the switch had no effect. A brief fumble around my room eventually showed that the main light was also not responding. Opening the curtains allowed me to partly illuminatemy room with light from streetlights, proving that there was still some power in the area.
Unfortunately I couldn't find my torch and so had to use the illumination form my mobile's screen to find and light the circuit breaker panel and get power again. A further misfortune was that the router had a bit of a fit so there was no network or internet.
Overall this month has been remarkably simiar to the previous one, only slighty darker. And now I'm 24 and feeling that I really shouldn't be yet.
