Wa-hoo... what a night

Dec 23, 2005 11:30

So besides wanting to punch my parents in the FACE (pause) I had a good night!

Kat and I decided to go to Alvin's in D-town and watch her cousin's band 'Churchhill' perform. hey, I'm pretty proud of myself right- I just not only acted like that was the usual thing to do- but I even remembered both of the names. Pretty good for a little classical girl goin to some ol' rock show, eh? They were headlining the whole shindig, so I was assuming they must be good. We leave at 10, and it starts- the insane fast talking, dorky giggling- all of it. We haven't seen eachother in a long time, and we don't like to tell the good stuff on the phone, so we had to wait till we were in person. We only had an hour car ride so we had to make it fast. We basically went 'me now you now me' game when it came to gushing out the gooey stuff- but it was worth it.

We got there at hmmm 11ish and they hadn't been on stage yet. It was fun to see the ol' fam. John has to be in his late 20's but I've known this guy for like 11 years.. not to mention all of his friends, so they were pleased to see us. I really liked them. I have to say I enjoyed myself really well. And then the mosh pit began. Oh my sweet jesus, do I look like the girl that should be caught up in that? Uh-no. We were at the very front and boys kept ramming themselves into us. And if you know me, I'm the squealing jumping kind, so each time i was yelping. Hmm.. yeah you can imagine that was a new experience for me. Besides the crazy men trying to pull us into the death pit and getting stomped on, I had a heck of a lot of fun.....

maybe I could do this again, ya know, I could make it a hobby of mine if I wanted to....hmm......nah! I'll stick to my harry and eva thanks.
