Happy New Year!
Better late than never, eh?
I haven’t been able to update for a couple of weeks, unfortunately. First there was the stress of the holiday season, and then unfortunately just after Christmas, I found myself in the hospital with pregnancy complications. It was all a bit dramatic, and I was stuck in there for five whole days!
Luckily everything worked out well. And though we had a few scares along the way (including a midnight trip to the labour ward due to dilation and heavy contracting!), we eventually made it home in one piece with little baby Dex still in utero.
I was so very happy to be able to ring in the new year at home with my amazing fiance.
But only now am I feeling up to writing about it all and getting caught up so that there’s documentation of the whole story here in my blog.
Over the next couple days, I’m going to actually go and write some backdated posts (with lots of pictures and videos we took at the time) to chronicle the whole story. I think this’ll be much better than trying to write one massive post.
But for now, I just want to wish each and every one of you a very Happy New Year for 2011. I have a feeling it’s going to be the best year yet!
