It’s a BOY!
Our beautiful son.
Saturday, Mark and I visited BabyBond in Ashford for a private gender scan so that we could find out what we’re having. Mark has been convinced it’s a girl from day one. In fact, everyone who’s seen me since getting pregnant, and everyone who knows me has been convinced it’s a girl. Mark and I have fought over girl baby names, and I’ve very much been excited at the thought of having a mini-me running around.
But the truth is that both of us wanted a boy. I’ve always wanted a boy first. And since Mark comes from a family of five brothers, and I have three brothers, it would have greatly surprised me if I had a girl first. But Mark was convinced… and my mom has been knitting pink dresses for weeks.
So when the sonographer turned on her machine and within seconds we were confronted by this:
Now THAT is a boy!
both of us were absolutely over the moon. Our baby is very much a healthy little boy.
