A rockin good time!!

Ok, here's how my weekend went, in a nutshell....Friday night was Psychic Showdown's big gig at the capitol garage. My best friend Elaine came down from Chico and we, along with Eileen and her boyfriend went to see the show. Let me just say that I quite enjoyed their performance. Especially my favorite PS song "Express Out" and their cover of "The Joker" I found myself singing along to a majority of the songs and dancing. True, I did have about two beers in me so the alcohol started kicking in, but that didn't matter. I guess you can say that I'm a groupie...No wait, take that back. It doesn't sound good. Make it a "band-aid" (Almost Famous tie-in)
I always find Psychic Showdown's shows highly entertaining. I hate to admit it, but Andrew makes an excellent front man. He was born to perform. And gosh darn it, I'm so jealous at how talented Matt is, especially due to the fact that he can't read music and plays by ear. He writes really deep, meaningful lyrics. He made me want to go out and buy a keyboard so that I can touch up on playing the piano. It's been so long since I took piano lessons. I just wish I had stayed with playing music instead of focusing so much on my studies. But oh well enough bitchin' for now.
I just spent almost five hours doing floor sets at Bath and Body Works. True, the job is hella easy and my shifts go by quickly, but having to move stuff around and setting up new floor displays is kind of boring. Especially when we're not allowed to leave until everything is set up correctly. The only good thing was that we all got free food (cookies and pretzels) from the manager and we actually got out about half an hour early, but still it sucks. I'm really looking forward to my 20% discount = )

Well that's enough writing for now. I better stop before those reading this get tired of my ranting and move on to something else. Good night!!!

music, work
