Sometime around midnight, debsbattlequeen and I finaly made it down to batfink, after a several month hiatus. Hooray ! Number seemed a bit thin and a lot of the 'usual' crowd were either missing, or somehow permanently on the other side of the stage from us :/
And shocked to hear it's the last-but-one ! We'll have to make a particular effort to make it to the grand final, if at all possible !
I was pleased to see members of the sheff crew that I've missed awhile; captainweasel and Gill(*), silverixnay, asw909, psynian, rhino_neil, Lee, Karen, Nige, Ali and others.
D and I are both in serious need of some new clubbing kit; today will be a trip to Notts to try and find some inspiration.
