We had a Margarita Party last night. Christmas party na rin ito ng mga housemates kasi magiging busy na kami sa mga iba pang Christmas parties the following weekends. Actually, idea namin ito ni Maida. Kasi, sobrang burn-out na kami at kailangan namin ng something to do. Something that will take our mind off work.
When we did our grocery, around 1600 pesos lang ang total bill namin. That already includes a bottle of white tequila, triple sec, and lime for the margarita. Plus ingredients for the nachos, burrito and pasta. Then, we just asked some of our guests to contribute additional drinks. Solb.
Ang nakakainis lang, walang tigil ang ulan last night. Some of our guests weren't able to come. Pero ok lang, at least we had plenty of food and drinks for the four of us (

At eto pala ang recipe ng pasta. Enjoy!
Pasta in Vodka Sauce ala HeyJay
1 500g short pasta (preferably penne)
Oil (Pwede na cooking oil pero mas ok kung olive oil)
1 garlic, crushed and chopped
1 onion, chopped
4 medium sized tomatoes, chopped
4 cans Century Tuna (Spanish Style or Hot and Spicy), drained
1 cup vodka
2 250ml Nestle Cream
3 200g Hunts Tomato Sauce
Salt and Pepper
Fresh Basil, minced
Chili Pepper
Cook pasta. Sauteé garlic, onion and tomatoes. Add tuna. Add vodka and let it simmer until vodka evaporates. Add cream and tomato sauce. Simmer. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add basil. Add chili pepper if you want it extra hot.
