I don't have dreams that often, but I'd say about 3/4 of the dreams that I have/remember have the same kind of plotline. I'm going on a trip, and I haven't packed enough, or I've forgotten something important, or I didn't take anything but the clothes on my back, and it's too late to change it, and I'm freaking out. Can someone throw an existential analysis onto this?
*Edit*
"Traveling
To dream that you are traveling, represents the path toward your life goals. It also parallels your daily routine and the way you progress."
"Packing
To dream that you are packing, signifies big changes ahead for you. You are putting past issues and/or relationships to rest and behind you. Alternatively, it represents the burdens that you carry"
"Trip
To dream that you are going on a trip, suggests that you are in need of a change of scenery. You are feeling overworked and need to take time out for yourself for some fun and relaxation."
"Forgetting
To dream that you are forgetting things, signifies life's anxieties, the overwhelming stress in your life and your responsibility to tend to everything and everyone's needs. Alternatively, forgetting something may represent your unconscious desire to leave that something behind. On a more direct level, the dream could just be your subconscious telling you or reminding you of a forgotten appointment or date."
