(no subject)
So the floor meeting we had to attend on Friday consisted of a FULL ice cream bar (complete with everything you could possibly imagine in a sundae!! I was in heaven!) and me having to be introduced to the ENTIRE group and go through "initiation" which meant I basically had to dance my way down this entire line of people...LOL. So hilarious. And tomorrow (Monday!) is the ESPN picnic at Lake Compounce!! Free food and beer! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. I'm bringing my babe with me :-D AND it's supposed to be a GORGEOUS day! I'm so excited. I love this job. Seriously. :-)
In other news, I saw a car crash on route 9 last weekend RIGHT in front of my face! This guy passed me going pretty fast, and about 10 seconds later I watched him plow himself into the guard rail, riding alongside the wires at about 75mph with pieces of his car flying up onto the highway (one of them which I RAN over!) until his car finally stopped on it's own and the hood flew up while smoke started pouring from the vehicle. I pulled over along with one other car and watched as all of a sudden it looked like 20 people were running across the highway to get the guy out of the car. Insane. That pretty much shook me up for the entire drive back to New Britain.
Spent a lot of time with my babe this week and I HATE that school is starting soon! Haha. :-) I'm pretty sure I'm going to be playing in jazz band still at least. :-) SO excited for that! And I know we'll make as much time for each other as possible. It might almost be better that I'm not in the dept. as much...I can't stand being there 24/7 anyway. ;-) Hehe. And I just have to throw in that he's the best boyfriend ever - he bought me a new Italia sticker-thing for my car and an ENTIRE box of Giovanni's Italian cookies when I wasn't feeling good after work one day. :-) SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD. My favorite. Ever. :-D
Now it's back to work (at the restaurant of course!) Wooo! I honestly don't mind working full time 7 days a week. It's a good thing. :-)
