So, the election is in less than a week now. In all honesty, I'm tired of hearing about it. Tired of the news, the radio, the internet, the daily show, tired of looking at the John Kerry 04 screen saver on my phone. so im sure you are saying, "why the hell are you writing about it then??". Good question. I just get so incredibly frustrated with ignorant people who have no idea why they are voting for someone. Is it that you are too lazy to read about the other candidate? Is it that your parents want you to? I have a friend who is openly gay, and his sister, who I also know, is voting for Bush. If i were gay and my sibling voted for someone who wanted to ban me from ever getting married, I would disown them. I cant even fathom that.
One time Dave Chappelle said, and this is totally not trying to be racist or anything like that, that white people will NOT tell you who they are voting for, but will tell you about fucking their wife in the ass. Why are people scared to admit? I asked a friend online last night, and never got an answer. Is it really that personal of a question? It's not like I asked "how large is your penis" or something like that. Sad part is that most men will answer that question. I don't get it. Today is a real shit hole day for me. There are so many reasons why. Sorry to rant, I just needed to bitch about something.
