"So when do we elect?" That was Kevin's question last night. I said, "Well, we'll go vote in the morning." He said, "Yeah I know, but when do we elect?" He's so darn cute.
Took the boy with me to vote this morning. He thought it was very cool. He went over each candidate with me and made suggestions (I asked him to point instead of make his suggestions out loud LOL). He "harumphed" when I chose someone different from his suggestions,and I reminded him that in 10 years he could cast his own ballot with his own choices.
Oh and we each got a sticker - hooray! Only 3 of us here at work got stickers - other polling places didn't have them (though a lot of them had kid voting stations - how cool! Ours didn't).
The plan was to go to Waffle House afterward but we were at the polling place longer than I'd expected, so we had Booger King breakfast instead.
