Together, We Cry.

Now Unario wasn't my favorite person in the team, but he was the only one who had no other plans.

I let Liz sleep in my room on the pent deck, Elina and Fitzroy cuddled up on my mother's couch (which I doubt she'll be happy about when she wakes up), and Ahmil locked up in his study, again.

Unario was looking spiff in his usual attire, a fitted plain white tee, denim jeans, Sunday shoes, and his ever famous leather jacket that made him look like Damon Salvatore.

"Do lycans get wasted?" I asked him, propping my elbows on the bar counter.

"Yeah, after we drink everything here and there." He chuckled, scarfing down the bottle of beer in one gulp. At least he wasn't being sarcastic today.

"Anything for the young lady?" The bartender asked me as I eyed him slyly. The glom could probably have gotten me a free drink if Unario hadn't banged the counter top with his bare fist.

"What the hell, Unario!?" I screamed, rolling the 'R' in his name, I felt him grab the back of my clothes and throw me across the bar. How dare the lowly mongrel? I used his force against him, retaliating and crashing to him, but he caught me and held a protective stance in front of me.

Stay down, he commanded in his ancient tongue. There's a mess here, when I say run, run for it, understand?! I could only nod at his power over me, a blue blood.

I saw the people at the bar eerily circle us as blood dripped out of my arm. Blue blood, one of these people must be silver. I saw Unario take off his jacket, bearing the silver dog tag (no pun intended) and chain. The one Isabella left him, before she.. left.

RUN! He commanded, and I did with such rapid force that I was in the window of my room in a second. In a flash, I forgot about Unario and decided to run for my life, a life that was worthlessly covered.

I slid inside and saw my mother still asleep, her face beaded with sweat even though it was as cold as December and she moved involuntarily. I tried to be as quiet as can be but the door opened so clumsily that she would have woken up if she weren't sick.

"Fitzroy, be careful!" I scolded him, pushing him (myself included) outside of the room and taking a last glance before closing the door. "What were you doing here anyway? You were supposed to be asleep." My eyes moved to our bar where Gin and Tonic has been made.

"You haven't been sleeping well again, haven't you?" I raised an eyebrow, he let out a defeated sigh and resumed position at the bar, a hand in his hair the other creating rhythm on the marble counter top. I sat in front of him, retrieving a shot glass from behind the counter and pouring some on mine.

"I've just been.. extremely worried. I'm sure you know." That's when I realized Unario was still out there, fighting whatever it is that almost attacked me at the bar. I dropped my drink and grabbed Fitzroy, instantly dragging him to the bar.

"What the hell are you doing?! There's no one in the apartment! Someone could hurt her." Fitzroy said, his concern obviously reaching Amis' instead of Elina's.

"Unario's in there. Alone. Fighting 10 people. and he doesn't stand a chance. All we have with us is the element of surprise and you have to time it exactly." His eyes widened at the news, but he quickly composed himself.

"What do you want me to do?" He asked, like a loyal servant.

"Distract them, I'll get them separately." I put my gloves on, in case of Plan B.

"And Divide and Conquer if it fails?" He asked, semi-transforming into a lycan.

"Yes, I'm afraid." I looked at him with eyes pleading to take care. I knew how devastated the team would be at the loss of another, but more importantly the grief it would bring to Elina, Liz, and Amis.. I couldn't do it to them, I promised them I'd let no one else die.

"Ready?" I asked.

"Always." He grinned, and jumped into a four-legged fanged beast.
