Well jeepers, I haven't written in a while. Perhaps it's because... oh I don't know... I HAVE A LIFE NOW.
My, that sounded angry. Not at all how I feel about it. I'm glad I have a life. I'm also glad to be taking some time out of it to waste some time of yours. Here's what's been going on with me as of late.
The interns are here! I'm super happy about that. I've gotten to spend a fair bit of time with them so far. I finally met Mike Jones, who Greg talks about all the time. 'Course he didn't mention Mike was from Liverpool. There's two other guys visiting from Liverpool as well, Phil and Martin. I fancy Martin, but they leave on the 28th and I'll likely not see him again for a long time so I've decided to keep cool. Although He did sell himself to me for $4. He was asking $12 to start but I talked him down.
In any case, I have officially decided to stay in Washington for the next year. I mean, I'll visit Vegas for Christmas hopefully. But I won't go to school until the '07/'08 school year. Which I'm actually pretty pumped about. This year is basically going to rock.
Other than that, I'm having to be somewhat stingy until Friday when I finally get paid. The checks that I ordered (I think I wrote about that on here) haven't been charged to my account yet, or arrived at my house, so I'm not sure if I succesfully ordered them or not. But I'm not desperately needing to write any checks any time soon so I think I'll just wait and see what happens. Praying they didn't get lost in the mail.
Ooh, and my friend Sarah got married! That's awesome. I was exciterdid for her. She's having a baby too. Woo!
I'm at the Greiner's house right now, waiting for the guys to get back from hiking. Betty's cooking- it smells amazing. I think it's dessert I'm smelling. I should get up and ask her if she needs help but then again, she's not even in the kitchen right now. I'll ask her when she appears to be working again.
I'm going to apply at Costco. It pays better.
