that's the difference between friends and strangers, I guess. friends notice your presence, strangers notice your absence...

I kinda gave up on the online journal thing when i realized that there was no way I could reconcile being anything but totally honest (as I would have to be in a personal journal) and writing something that "strangers" could and probably would read. I also realized that even making a final post about this realization would be in-and-of-itself just a continuation of the half-truths and undisguised insinuations (ooh, rhyme!) of everything before, so I decided to just quit with no livejournal suicide note. I still check up on what other people write every now and then, but I wouldn't feel right making any new posts. I'm on myspace.com though, just like everybody from high school who I never thought I'd hear from again (weird). Anyhoo, that's where I've been in the computer sense. Where have you been?

p.s. what are you if people notice neither your presence nor your absence?
