(no subject)
So, Dija picked me up from work last night and we went to Target to buy mini scrabble so we could play while we waited in line (like awful nerds) for hours to see The Return of the King. I made myself a peach smoothie with some yummy alcohol stuff before she came, then I had a beer right before we left. Walking around Target with a slight little buzz, listening to parents tell their kids to shut up and stop touching stuff (Christmas spirit) is kinda tiring and fun. Scrabble ended up being too expensive so we bought Sponge Bob playing cards instead. The box said in Spanish, "Bob Esponja."
We went over to the theater and waited outside in the cold. There were about a thousand people there (no hyperbole). We got there at about 8pm (which was 12 hours later than the REAL nerds) and the next four hours went by surprisingly fast. The movie was amazing. I was watching it and thinking, "Wow, this is really good." I don't know if it's my favorite though; I'll have to think about it.
