i miss the old fourth of july's. where i'd march in the band and eat a huge meal at my grandma's and run around town with my friends and try to sneek off with whoever was my boyfriend at the time. these last few years have really sucked and today's not going to be much different. mike's leaving soon and then i'll be alone in this place so far away from home and friends. i might have to go to the rodeo tonight. if i do, i hope it's semi fun.

i really wish i was home for the day.
