A question for my grown-up friends (which is pretty much everyone):
I have this really glaring hole in my resumé, from the year I spent in Uruguay. I was a full-time student, living with parents, studying abroad.
My question is...do I put that on my resumé?
It seems...really unprofessional to just throw that in there, but I know that potential employers are giving me the shifty eye like "Well what the hell was this kid doing for a year and a half?" How does one go about explaining long employment gaps before an interview? Does that shit go in your cover letter?
