oh when jewbie says 'bye mark" it reminds me why last year was the way it was. it was just playful and carefree. there were dark periods, sure, but in context of carefree and playful, irresponsible times.
the kids are playing dice in the hall. i can hear jon's laugh and the occasional exchange of excited words.
im reading for Ways of Knowing and then hopefully i'll work on my essays some more, start my next one, shit, i have to read another chapter for chicanos then.
dylan is at band practice for a couple hours.
i dont know what ill do tonight, i need to call back witty.
today was splendid. woke up early when the sun was sooo bright, the sky soo blue, but all i really got was diffused warmth through white curtains. nice long morning, but back from breakfast by 12:30. smoked with logan fox, listened to pavement in my room with him and dylan. listened to lots of things with dylan for a good long time. we wrote an email to the unicorns.
sol and kate came by. smoked with them and dylan and jon and we convinced max, by accident, that we were smoking crack. talk about odd.
last night i went to heather and annes house in town. drank some drinks, we finished the jug of wine while there, but people drank from glasses. there were a dozen people maybe. nice house, nice girls, nice guests. dylan got his long lost hat back after a year or more, and he also got back the hoodie i sewed on before chrismtas vacation. that was good. today he's wearing a blue shirt and rivers jeans and cons and his hair is sticking up really crazy...oh how i love button down shirts on men. at dinner, before going out, dead flowers played in the kitchen and it ended up that we both walked out of there without shoes on, holding tea and water. we got looks and comments from theresa ... hehe.
