"She, a woman of noble beauty, of classic worth, of Raphaelesque proportions, a woman created of no other, to be Medea, Madonna, Beatrice, Iphigenia, Aspasia, entered, on a rainy November day, the office of Air France in the Sixteenth Arondissement, to buy a one way ticket to Tegel Airport, Berlin.
She wanted to forget her past, even more to leave it behind, like a falling down house. She wanted to concentrate with all her powers on one thing; to live her own life was her sole wish.
Berlin, a place in which she would be a total stranger, seemed to be the right place to fulfill her desire undisturbed. Her desire was to drink - live to drink - drinking to live - the life of an alcoholic -
Now, moment had come to realize the desire.
