So, I get up this morning from a wonderful night of sleep, and what shall I find lying face down on the floor but my bass guitar.
Normally I would shrug it off, but I had had it up on the chair last night, and it would have been next to impossible that it would have fallen off. No biggie, I said, and picked up my bass to figure out a bass line for HNIC's new tune. However, when I went to plug my amp cable in, I was treated to a lovely surprise.
The input was fucking gone. Which is a huge fucking issue seeing as how that's how shit gets amplified.
The screw was lying on the floor, and the metal part that holds it in was lying with it. Sometime in the middle of the night/morning, it fell off the chair. I have no clue how (anyone who has ever seen the big blue chairs in my living room will attest to that).
The jack is somewhere INSIDE the guitar. I have no clue how to fix this, and moreover I have no clue IF I can fix this.
This wouldn't suck so hard if
a. i wasn't broke, and
b. my other bass has the same problem (the strap lock broke a week after Variety Show 2003- hence why I bought the Samick.)
