So lets see... I am at EKU now and finally it is starting to not feel so weird. It has been very difficult getting adjusted to the new place. It is definitely nothing like Louisville or Northern Kentucky. But I like it ok now. School is going really well here so that is a major plus.
I got engaged on Sept. 12. Tim and I have been together for almost 2 years and had dated non-exclusively for 6 months before that time. It was a Friday night and we were going to dinner and to lexington to go to the mall. After dinner he asked if we can make a pit stop. I said sure and he he stopped at the business school and lead me through this path to a small pond with a little waterfall. It had flowers all over the place and was just beautiful. He said he wanted to read me a poem he had written and at the end he got on one knee and proposed. I of course said yes. So that was very exciting. We are getting married June 11, 2010 after I graduate back home in northern Kentucky. Here is a picture of the ring:
