Animals and Stuff

I went and ate with my mom and brother-- got seafood portofino, or something like that. Good stuff!

We went and saw "Just My Luck." Pretty cute movie, though I was hiding my face a lot for the "I Love Lucy" type moments (me watching a movie involving bad luck is not the best of ideas).

Funny story. Right before the movie started, when all that pre-movie company stuff comes up, I wondered in my head...What movie am I seeing again? It took me a few moments, but then I finally remembered. Then, Pete asks, "What movie is this again?" I laughed and told him I had just gone through that same experience. Then, a girl walks in and sits in the chair in front of us and asks, "What's the name of this movie again?" Pete and I started laughing. It was soooooo weird!

I still need to pack more stuff in my car, heh. If it all fits, it will be just barely...I'm getting a little worried about it...But push comes to shove, I'll take out a few of the less important things...Though I don't want to take out anything :(

Minnie the skittish cat had a funny encounter with "Fat Cat" Anakin a minute ago. Tigger's laying on my bed, and Anakin was sitting in my room near the door. Minnie comes in and sniffs at Anakin. Anakin (who is the cat that basically gets along with all the cats and dogs) just sat there, remaining rather still, as if trying to get her used to his presence. Then he reaches out and licks her chest a few times before pulling back. She looked almost baffled, sniffed some more, and didn't even jump when he randomly started rapidly licking his own chest. Then she went to sniff his tail, jumping a little each time it twitched.

On the road, my mom thinks she saw a bobcat. It was annoying, because I had my eyes on the road almost the entire time except when Pete goes "Look at the moon, it's beautiful." It was that moment, the one time I was looking away for an extended time period, that the maybe-bobcat chose to grace the side of the road with its presence. Frustrating.

When we came home, it smelled like skunk outside. When I had to go back to the car I was kinda scared that I would run into the skunk. Fortunately, I didn't see it. But I would much rather smell like skunk than like the garbage we have outside. Whew. That stuff reeks.

My hair flips out in some places. Blagh. I should probably get some gel, but I doubt I'll be able to make it look all right. Just don't have that kind of skill (or patience, which is probably the big thing).

One of my big problems with drawing is posing. Pete's all, you need to draw the animals (for the manga he wants to do) in different poses, and I'm like dude, you do it. He's like, I can't. And I'm like, then what makes you think I can?? Frustrating.

Gonna share a movie quote with you. So, there are all these weird alphabet letters that have eyes on them, and a character says something along the lines of: "I haven't seen so many strange letters since I put a personal ad in the paper."

Heh, okay one more random quote:

Jessie: Prepare for trouble and a dance!
James: I'm wearing tights instead of pants!
