I had to buy baby clothes this weekend. Not for me of course, but for my friend Ashley who's baby shower is this weekend. I felt like a fish out of water at the store and I think it was painfully obvious to the sales associates that I had no idea what I was doing. How embaressing. Haha, but slightly hilarious at the same time. I actually managed to find some cute things too. Now I get to wrap it all up and send it to her by this weekend. She's due in May and she's having a girl who she plans on naming Taylor...which I just find amusing. I'm planning on going down in June to visit her. It's so weird to have a friend who's having a baby...I've known her since 5th grade. It freaks me out.
I registered for classes yesterday. I got 3 of the 4 classes I wanted. I have to get permission from the instructor to get into the 4th class. It's a photography class. So I'm waiting for him to e-mail me back. I'll be taking Critical Reasoning, Professional Report Writing, and my last Math class EVER...hopefully. I thought that same thing when I took math at Brooks and I was dead wrong. So hopefully I'm not jinxing myself again. It's not a bad scheduale...not as bad as this current one. Only 3 more weeks of classes! Then finals and then break. Oh the sweetness.
My parents remodeled my bathroom. I'm not sure how I feel about it. For those who have been to my house you know my bathroom had a "purple" theme...well now it has a REALLY purple theme...they painted it top to bottom in dark lavender...ugh. Now yes purple is one of my preferred colors...but not like that. I do get a new toilet though, which is exciting. I like it because I got to pick it out. It's not really my bathroom anyway, since I won't be living at home for much longer. 9 months to be exact. 9 months? Really? Thats exciting. ;) I'm so ready to not live here anymore. Living on my own in Santa Barbara really spoiled me.
Okay, I'm off to school to ask my sociology prof if he'll write a recommendation for me to Western. I hope he says yes. Wish me luck.
