In past weeks, Calvin College has decorated its residence halls with posters that attempt to educate its students about the conflict in Darfur. Last night I delivered a pizza to a couple of young blond girls in one of these halls. As I walked away, a poster caught the eye of one of the girls and I heard her ask the other, "What does this mean: 2.5 million displaced?" Suffice it to say . . . "mission accomplished?"
On a side note, one of my favorite pastimes is leaving my headlights off after other people start to flash their lights at me when, in their opinion, it's too dark to drive without them.
