mmm, rossi. when i was in college the first time, i started my drinking career with boone's mountain farms (cuz really, who doesn't?), but once i moved past the awesomeness that was green apple flavor, the next step in my progression was a year-long affair with rossi burgundy.

actually, there are some very acceptable boxed wines available in many markets here in the states. In Europe boxed wine is much further along in it's evolution, and thus, have a more robust flavour choices

I'm sure there are, but my only experience with box wine is Franzia and dang if that is not gross. It will be good to have nice neighbors, it is just reality that we will be the weird people on the block.

If you want to try an OK boxed wine, the merlot at TARGET (of all places!) is pretty alright.

I am used to being the weird one in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, part of this is why i might be having that horrible fine-happening to me that i wrote about. :[
