I come bearing fanfiction!
Hello everyone! I've been a fan of Hey Arnold for over half my life, and recently got re-obsessed with the show (the last time was when I was 16 - the result being that my car is named Arnold and my laptop is named Helga, haha). Needless to say, I was inspired to write and contribute to fandom. So this is me, coming out of the shadows of this community to offer a fanfic. :D
The idea for this fic might have been done to death already (I admit I haven't read a lot of HA! fanfiction yet) so sorry ahead of time if it has! It's a one shot, but I do have ideas for other fics set in the same "universe" if people seem to like it. Feedback is appreciated! :)

Summary: Arnold returns to Hillwood for the first time since leaving with his parents four years earlier, and Helga tries to come to terms with her feelings. Somewhat canon compliant with TJM and The Patakis.
For her, it marked the day she lost her inspiration and stopped writing. Her entire worldview and every dream she ever had were on a plane the next day.
